Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2 1982) is a South African actress, model and TV host. Her acting career began through The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came in the form of her first role as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in numerous television series during the last decade including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt plays Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born within Cape Town South Africa. In her late teens, she moved to Auckland New Zealand along with her siblings and mother. Brandt started her modelling career in ads and printed commercials. Before she rose to fame as a model she was employed in sales at retail as well as being an information technology recruitment consultant. Her first starring part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. Her first big appearance was in 2021, when she appeared as the character of slave woman Naevia in the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her role as Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The role she was playing first came to her in Mazikeen as a demon who is a bounty hunter in the hit Netflix show Lucifer. This happens to be her largest role to date. The show is paired with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist who broadcast live on the New York Stock Exchange. Her reputation has been recognized for her numerous very successful television shows. An experienced broadcaster with more than twenty years of experience writing about economics and business she played a pivotal role in establishing the TV channel CNBC as among the best in the business and economy segment. The award was given to her as one of the fifty Faces who Shaped the Decade she also was the first ever female journalist to be recognized in the Cable Hall of Fame.
